it is amazing how much a qb vinny turned into, for that fact so did steve young. and who did tb keep? dilfer.

You're talking about different eras. Dilfer was probably 10 yrs old when the "bay" made the bone head mistake of trading Steve Young. I'm not sure but I think Doug Willaims was the "bay" QB at the time. Steve was in the WFL and came into the league about the same time as Kelvin Bryant (skins) and H. Walker (dallas).

Vinny has always been recognized as having talent. His only problem has been that he is not a great quarterback when he is behind in the score. If he is a cog in the wheel he is very good. If you're behind and the team is a limited one like the ravens, he will try to do everything himself and end up forcing throws. So on a team that is good, Vinny can be very good. On a bad team he trys to do to much.

If it is not too late I'd like to give my weekly picks against the spread. I'm going to be a homer this week and take:

Skins beat the spread and
Ravens beat the spread

Regards

Tom

denver defense needs to step it up, even with elway, at best they would be 1-1.

The lose of John Mobley at MLB for the season hurts their defense substantially..

I see Denver like I see the pickers on this threads, finishing under .500 this year <ggg>
