CFP is the biggest scam I've run across.

I looked into this a few years back. I have an MBA in Finance and a decade+ in investment experience, so I thought I'd take a quick test and that would be it.
Not hardly. I had to take a very expensive(several thousand $$) mail-in class, offered exclusively by some CFP related organization, just to take the stupid test. I decided against it, but looked into the requirements just for fun. A CFP basically means you can read, write, and learn how to follow simple directions. I think my daughter has that in 2nd grade.
Even brokers have more stringent requirements than CFPs.
