RE <<<Waht kind of problems?

I am unaware of any intrinsic problem with the uP's.>>>

When I posted you, I had managed to meld to stories and made them into one: Niles and the 2 million cancelled pc chips and problems with coppermine and their chipsets may effect their MHz.....became in my head Niles said their were problems with cumine and 2 mil chips were cancelled...it does pay to read too quickly.

I was surprised by the 2 mil. chip cancellation so early in the selling season and Q4 esp. when the latest reports indicate that pc demand is very strong. Therefore the whole thing may suggest that cumine in volume is delayed beyond the end of October, forcing the oems to cancel their orders for the cumines since they would want them before rather than after xmas.

This whole announcement by Niles coinciding with the rmbs/intc chipset problem does not make sense; it certainly does not reflect a company in control(not an attack, just an observation). What I sense is that we are seeing the tip of the iceberg.

I know to some degree your view is limited, and you are restricted as to what you can say and not say. I think my posts to you were merely reflexive (you work for intc) because I was surprised even though I saw trouble in the trading of intc's stock and its chart the last couple of weeks.
