This is true... trading can kill you. Last year, CNBC interviewed a futures trader who looked like they had dragged him from the grave. OTOH, daytrading is the way I make my "living", and I am comfortable that I can consistently turn a certain profit on a weekly basis...I'm also confident that I have taken it beyond gambling.

However, my posts on this thread were based on a longer term horizon and I am in no way encouraging anyone to trade ATHM. Granted, words like "accumulation" slip out on occasion, probably skewed by the way I spend my time during the day. But my objective is to enter a long term ATHM position, coming off a base. I thought I had found that base, but seasonal market factors and probable tax selling made me drop the positions. When we get some real fear in this market and some climactic selling, I'll pick it up again. Thereafter, we're talking fundamentals.
