From the Zoo..... Free CPQ computer, get 3.5cent/min L.D.

Through a yet to be announced deal w/ IDT, you can get a FREE compaq computer if
you sign up for 3 years of the IDT internet service. IDT's ISP is unlimited use for
24.95/month. On top of that, if you sign up for the CPQ/IDT deal, you can switch your
home long distance service to IDT and get an unbelievable rate of 3.5 Cents/Min !!! This
rate costs 3.95/month, but still blows away all other offers! In addition, there will be a
special Net2phone button on the Compaq keyboard, allowing you to make internet
phone calls while you're logged onto the internet. If you're not familiar, IDT is the parent
of Net2phone.

This deal is under a trial period in the NY area, and has been briefly suspended to do
some fine tuning on the offer. Should hear news on this very soon. This is a very bright
development for IDTC, CPQ, and NTOP.

IBM, Dell to announce multi-bln dollar extension to pact
NEW YORK, Monday September 27, 6:06 am Eastern Time
(Reuters) - Computer makers International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM - news) and Dell Computer Corp. (NasdaqNM:DELL - news) said on Monday they plan to unveil a ''multi-billion'' dollar extension of their $16 billion strategic pact announced in March.

Under the seven-year agreement disclosed on March 4, IBM said it would supply Dell with a range of key computer components for its machines including disk drives, chips, network attachments and monitors.

Further details on the extension of the pact, to be announced at a press conference at 10:00 a.m. (1400 GMT) in New York Monday, were not immediately available.

In March, the deal between IBM, the world's largest computer maker, with Dell, the fastest-growing company in the business, was touted as the largest supply deal ever seen in the industry.

At the time, officials of the two companies said the pact was only the ''beginning'' of a close partnership that could lead to further supply arrangements.
