Why do you think they are running short of pennies nickels & are putting Susan B. $ back onto the market? They've run out of capacity to print enough $1 bills. Have you seen the sudden increase of $2 bills out there? Noted how many $1 bills are in really bad shape/ Won't even go through loose changers? I'm guessing they quit taking bad $1 bills(unless really bad) out of circulation.
Won't be long until to get cash money in their pockets people will be writing checks for & putting gold & silver on plastic.

Pretty exciting huh? I saw this same scenario unfold, I think, in 1987. Silver spent a long time in the 5.00 range and when it burst through 6.00 it went right straight to 7.00. I am expecting silver to make its way through 6.00 in the next few days or weeks and then we will see.
