No problem, but I'm just basically against calling gains any longer. I've also had RIMM and AUDC since nearly IPO and LBRT and many, many others, but I decided its best to keep my gains quiet as it serves no purpose other than self-aggrandizement and opens you up for any persona from SI to come up for a challenge 'just because'.. Its ridiculous since we are all basically under the cloak of SI and no one really know or cares how much you are making. All they care about is getting the buy signal fairly timely. I called the shorts only partially to educate myself and others at the same time and the gains were obviously more 'exciting' since I haven't gone short before these last 3 months but only went with put and index options for the 'down markets'. Basically I decided to call the difficult calls ( shorts mostly forentry and exits) which were obviously less profitable than some of the 'long' ones where I keep my own 'profit' under wraps after calling the buy trigger. Occasionally I'll give the exit price and gain, to keep the interest going but I know posters are more interested in timely calls than how our personal bank accounts are doing. I've also decided I actually don't mind posting mistakes because those are 'believable' have educational value, and might prevent others from making the same mistake. I don't want this thread to be a 'how everyone outdid each other'kind of thread, or any 'good' or 'bad' guys and for the most part it hasn't. There isn't a thread leader here, or "GURU". We all contribute and have equal 'rank'. If I could change anything on the thread it would be the surety and 'hype-like' manner some express their enthusiasm for their stocks. I haven't done that in 2 and 1/2 years and even when I made the call on PHCM I knew it was very risky and gave adequate warning. I just try to serve as a host of sorts and obviously because I do run a business, I like to keep the threaders 'busy' and subscribers 'happy' as well, but a lot of that is behind the scenes with the newletter, calls in code which others don't see. I'm excited about real time alerts and I'll be spending the first Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a 'package solution' for the best most cost efficient 'alerts' we can get. We might also need a separate forum to separate the Market Gems picks from some of the others, because of the popularity of this forum (which I like) its a little harder to MG'ers focussed. But I've learned that no one on this thread means any 'harm' but they are caught up in their enthusiasm.
