Dan, I don't know, for sure, who is trying to force anyone to listen but, that is one of the things that Christians are always getting blamed for. the word"forced" was probably too strong but,in some cases certain groups do make pests of themselves, without invitation, so far as to come to your door and proclaim that theirs is the ONLY way.In Steve's post, the article posted was that the Southern Baptists were going to NY to convert the Jews without being asked, by the Jews, to do so. That is the sort of thing that I do not agree with. Jesus told the disciples to go forth and spread the Gospel, which is fine with me and I do it myself but, I do not believe we should insist on preaching to people who don't want to be preached to.I also do not agree with those who have designed rituals, hymns, and topics of sermons who insist that they know that their way is the absolute best way for the rest of us, and insist on belaboring the point.^ ^ ^TD
