BG was quoted "Put me at any other seat at the table, and I'd eat Microsoft's lunch" or something close to that. There are competitors now and future who with easy capital will be tougher. SB only wanted to make their capital raising a little more difficult. IMO.

Of course the larger issue is that technology stocks, by and large, are way overvalued. Don't we all know that? So, if there comes a guy who looks like he could bring down that house of cards by stating the obvious, all the people who have built their hopes on such a house start panicking.

If somebody came along now and announced, for instance, that PLL, MO and WRE (three holdings that together make up about 10% of my portfolio) are grossly overvalued, I won't curse him! Because I don't have to!<g>
