Ibexx, friend doing IBM ecommerce consulting tells me that Linux has 12% market share (or is it 21%) in operating systems for webservers

I would love to view some of these webserver farms.. heard a single building is slightly larger than a WalMart store containing maybe 100-150 large $1M Sun servers

I see a gradual erosion of the MSFT desktop monopoly but it wont happen anytime soon.. RedHat and others will promote the Linux cause.. Java will ensure lack of dominance by MSFT on internet.. Jini will ensure lack of dominance by MSFT in radio software.. GPRS, Edge, Symbion etc will ensure lack of dominance by MSFT in wireless system sw

I have a great fear of MSFT threats not only to the software industry, but to the financial markets if Justice whacks their pimply bratty asses
