Ned -the reason that I am not rushing to answer your question is that when I brought this up before for discussion -here was your polite response-- ************************* "cell system" is radio numb-nuts; its just a closed circuit with an inferior freqs versus HF. ************************** I think we all just assume that you know all this stuff! In answer to your question -they are looking at two different bands - both supplied by the telephone system - one for local use and one for North America wide use. I know a few more details but I don't want to post them in public -since this does seem like a race to market. JP
