Hey Bob some years ago when I was dashing madly in all directions I put 450,000 on an Accord. When I traded it they gave me $100 as a gesture and the whole sales staff came out and gave me a round of applause. I recall getting 160,000 out of the first set of tires on it. Kilometers for both figures of course. Honda really builds 'em.

Why is it that us gold types are cheap with our cars. In May I traded in my 1987 Chrysler Le Baron GTS for a new Subaru Forester. I was getting embarrassed putting down $300 for depreciation on my income tax. I expect to keep my new one for 12 years too, and so far it's been great. Looking forward to the electrically heated seats in the winter.
