Makes sense to me that a bit change would be in order. It amazes me that those who have so much expertise in drilling didn't mention that earlier. Everyone seems to try to push up the timeline when in fact I think they'll be proceeding very cautiously especially at this point.

Morning Taff, I have to add something to your post 5160.

I agree with you that they probably had more cement than anyone expected. I suspect that when I was told that we were drilling new rock on Friday morning, we were still actually drilling cement.
Having that much cement, they may want to trip for a new bit after drilling out the float and casing shoe.

They are at 13,680 feet, so with each stand of pipe averaging 90 feet, I calculate 152 "uncouplings" as they pull out of the hole.
Don't forget that they are almost entirely in casing. If they were to trip the bit, they should be able to go reasonably quickly.
Just my thoughts, but we will know in about 22 hours!

Have a pleasant Sunday.
