Looks like Mort is making sure our relations in Singapore stay strong. Glad DELL moved there operations out of Hong Kong to Singapore. It's a much more stable environment and better access to the region.

Singapore Technologies Sets Up International Advisory Panel

Singapore, Sept. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Singapore Technologies Pte., the government-owned entity with diversified investments from defense equipment to telecommunications, has set up an advisory panel headed by Philip Yeo, the outgoing chairman of its associate SembCorp Industries Ltd., the Singapore Business Times said. The panel includes a list of retired heads of some of the world's biggest companies: Norman Augustine, former chairman of Lockheed Martin Corp., Tsuyoshi Kawanishi, senior adviser at Toshiba Corp., Jean Pierson, former managing director at Airbus Industrie, Randall Tobias, retired chairman and chief executive of Eli Lilly & Co. Others include Morton Topfer, vice chairman at Dell Computer Corp., and Lodewijk van Wachem, chairman of the supervisory board at Royal Dutch Petroleum Co. and Koninlijke Philips Electronics.

In July, Singapore Technologies said it plans to list shares in at least three units, including Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd., in the not-too-distant future, in a bid to raise the group's profile.
