What is ironic is that the case of DOJ is about let the market force play its roll, and that is what Microsoft claimed to fight for. The thing which is ironic and bug me is Microsoft won't let the market to decide the valuation of its own stock. Why does'nt Microsoft just make a public announcement what its stock price should be? In the past 6 months, the price just can't break $95, whenever it hit there , something happened and took it down , it seemed to be a strategy which was planned by ?, i.e the stock price should not be over $95 within certain time frame. Say, early this week , the price hit $97 and ready to pass the $100 mark, but the CEO made the public comment about the valuation and bring it down. Well, what can I say, some one is trying to manipulate the stock price while he was caliming that free market for the software industry is the solution !!!!
