Paul: Thank you for the brilliant analysis!

This excerpt is particularly accurate: <<All that selling, and they couldn't keep the stock price down. No wonder the proponents of the death spiral are sounding a bit shrill. The "floorless bandits" needed to have the longs panic, and stampede for the exits, but the longs didn't cooperate.>>

Thanks again for the hard work and you didn't let your "rational deliberations" dissuade you from calling the CFO.

Great job!

Paul: An excellent write-up of a potential theory relating the "behind the scenes" aspect of all that's been going on with VLNC of late, trading-wise. It hangs together nicely, and is good enough to "clip and save" for future use when studying other equity trading patterns and the underlying dynamics of the "big boys/girls". I will say an analysis is made easier when you've the right level of access, and know with some assurances behind what MM masks the dominant players may reside(like REDI).

You want to know what the best part of this could be? The best part would be if'n somebody could get access to the next c.c. and put some of this straight to L.D. and the CFO. Heh! It'd be interesting to get their read on this situation, and I, meself, would be curious to hear the outcome of their Castle deliberations. Is the negotiating door still "open"? Have they agreed to disagree? What?

Once again, thanks for spending the time writing this analysis. I suspect next week may be very interesting to watch. Let's see how it unfolds...

John~

Paul, your brilliant analysis ignores a couple of points. Probably because they don't fit in with your latest theory.

First, the short interest rose steadily all spring, a period in which you claim Castle Creek was not shorting.

Second, you ignore any impact of Daddy Warbucks' buying and selling in the equation. Don't you find it a coincidence that the stock is always quite weak immediately before Daddy Warbucks purchases shares?

In summary, you're trying to line up the trees to fit your latest theory, but you've missed the forest. You also claimed a few weeks ago when the price started rebounding that the short attack was over and you projected clear sailing ahead. Now once again you are predicting the selling is over. I guess one can arrange the trees to fit any explanation one wants to see.
