Wed 29 Sept 99 News Release
Mr. Richard Mozer reports
Devine Entertainment is launching the Devine Time Web site, an interactive
and entertaining journey through history. The concept is inspired by the
company's award-winning TV series, The Inventors' Specials. The site
features a historical timeline, a trivia challenge game and a flight lab.
The target demographic for the site is seven to 12 year olds, however, the
multimedia format is designed to appeal to parents and teachers as well.
The site, co-produced by Generation Net (formerly Rollercoaster Studios),
will soon expand to include the company's other series, The Artists'
Specials and The Composers' Specials.
The timeline uses the metaphor of a slinky to depict time as flexible and
cyclical. The timeline expands and contracts to reveal periods of
scientific thought, invention, revolutionary events, and artistic
innovation. The timeline currently profiles 100 inventors from 1452 to
1952.
The Trivia Challenge Game relates to mastery of the timeline profiles.
Users can only play the game once they have read at least three inventor
profiles and collected the corresponding keys.
The Flight Lab is related to the timeline profiles of Leonardo da Vinci and
the Wright Brothers. The lab introduces the scientific principles of flight
through interactive modelling. Users must select the right combination of
fuselage, wings, engine and landing gear before the craft can take to the
air.
The Devine Time Web site was developed with the support of the Bell and
Stentor New Media Funds. Devine Entertainment Corporation is an Emmy-award
winning developer and producer of high-quality children's and family films
designed for worldwide television and cable markets and international home
video markets.

Thu 30 Sept 99 News Release
Mr. Richard Mozer reports
Devine Entertainment has launched an e-commerce store to accompany its new
interactive, educational history Web site for kids, Devine Time, launched
yesterday. The store is designed to sell the company's videos and CDs
direct to consumers in North America and around the world. The product list
currently consists of 17 videos and six CDs. This list will expand in 2000
with soundtracks from The Inventors' Specials films and videos of Devine's
most recent series, The Artists' Specials.
Generation Net (formerly Rollercoaster Studios) provided Internet solutions
development and e-commerce services for project. Devine is working with
Chapters.ca, one of Canada's best known on-line retailers of books and
videos for fulfilment in Canada. Orders in the United States will be
handled by Full Perspective Video (FPV).
Recent research indicates that there are 22 million youths between the ages
of five to 12 on-line in the U.S. and Canada. This age group is the fastest
