I think that is clearly on the front of his mind, but the repercussions of a third hike in such close proximity to #1 and #2 coupled with valuations would quite likely cause a reaction which is even more detrimental to the economy than inflation. Who knows? At least we only have 6 1/2 days left to find out :)

No, the Fed is concerned with inflation not Forex rates per se....so the Fed will raise rates if they think inflation is still a threat.
