Sundar-- You must be careful of the 'wash rule'. 30 days can take a long time in a volatile mkt. Why CPQ? Although CPQ SHOULD BE near bottom there are others with better prospects that you do not have to be concerned about tax problems if you get the chance to bail. Plus you can sell CPQ and take losses against other gains and an additional $3000.00 against other income. I plan on using CPQ as a 3 year tax write off against gains. With a ton of luck in that time frame it will move up enough to bail some close to even,,, not this year but since the cash is not needed it pays for me to go for the gains in other issues.
