Uncle,

<< The greatest Ryder Cup ever!!!!!!!!!!! >>

... and Kiaweh (Ocean course) matches were pretty darned good.

Makes me want to rush back to the "Ryder Cup Lounge" at Pinehurst and look at all those great photos on the wall (Tony Jaklin and a young Walrus come to mind) and the bags and all.

Did all 4 days at the Country Club in 1988 when Couples won in the playoff over Faldo. Spent every afternoon in the bleachers of 17 where Justin clinched today, watching everyone play through, then watching the leaders tee on 18, and running for the remaining seats in the left 18th hole bleachers. The 2 tier 17th played much tougher back then. It has been rebuilt since and is not as severe.

<< Watched it, taped it, will watch it again >>

Same here. Matter of fact, had to watch tape replay of yesterday afternoon last evening since I was out playing 18 on one of the finest golf afternoons we have had here in Delaware for a while.

<< Did you see David Love toast Johnny Miller? >>

YES! Did you hear BEN CRENSHAW credit his (and Tom Kite's) great mentor HARVEY PENIK?

I carry a batch of music CD's and music cassette tapes in the vehicle as I drive I-95 from Richmond to Boston practicing my profession. If I'm not talking on the old Qualcomm QCP800 (digital all the way courtesy of a great BAM buildout), or listening to music, I am either listening to Geof talk Gorilla or listening to Crenshaw, Kite, and others read Harvey on three audio books I carry of Harvey's teachings.

Uncle Frank,

re: >>The greatest Ryder Cup ever!!!!!!!!!!!<<

Unbelievable! Never thought I'd see the day where Dave Duval is prancing around a green and mugging it up like a professional wrestler! I bet the team will out-party the Kennedys tonight in Boston!

Yours in Crenshaw,
C Nelson Reilly
