Chaz,

I have to say I agree with you. I am looking to sell my position in LU and add to my GMST and RNWK. I have some royalty positions (ie, JDSU)
and I feel the youngsters are definitely outperform a lot of the oldsters over the next 3 to 5 years.

Joel

This thread is really quite amazing. Though by no means a mind meld, each of us has his/her own situation, but as a cooperative effort this group has identified and defended one gorilla selection, and is looking hard amongst four primate candidates....RNWK, GMST, CTRX, and RMBS. School's out on #5, NTAP.

As a group, we have refined one another's thinking about technology investing to the point where I would imagine few of us now fear parking all our money here. That may not have been true a scant 8 months ago, and it may not be that all now have all their money in tech. But cutting edge stuff doesn't frighten us. For me, quite the opposite is true. I read the other day that to prosper in time of rising rates, buy the banks. I also read that if you want to avoid losses in the face of tightened credit, stay away from the banks. Red or Black folks, the wheel is spinning, so place your bets, folks. That is really scary!

What I know is that technology marches on, and that new stuff is flying out the doors every day somewhere in tech, and some of it will change how things are done in ways that only a few of us can imagine. The other day I saw an ad for a handheld device that has an internet capability...we'll see it in stores before the year's end, at about $800-$900. Pricey, but wait til it's no longer a Bowmar product. (Anybody remember those, at $500 per?) Yeah, it's got Q inside! Lindy probably has one already.

And, we're peeking even deeper....here was mention of LUMM, GNSS, AMCC, all possible future enablers of one stripe or another, and about which we'll probably hear more as their investigators keep watch and return with scouting reports. There will be others to be sure. Technology, marching on.

There's no way I could have done any of this on my own, and I suspect others feel the same.

A closing thought. This group, this unique group, creates confidence in each of us. We have a sense of group purpose thus our individual remarks are meant to truly inform those who will see them, which is all of us. I don't know it all by any means, but I'd know less if I hadn't got here, and by paying attention now that I am, I expect to be in need of additional pockets. I wonder, how many are there in Lindy's baggy suit? $2,000, in a non-taxed ROTH, at 45% annually (gorilla companies) for 30 years, is worth $633,000,000.00. Tell your kids.

Goodnight everybody. Have a great week, quarter, life.
