Edwarda - I'm sorry if I've offended you but believe me there are many of us devoted to the preservation of the MPH and researching its provenance and history. The part played by the MPH in our history and the contribution it made to US strategy has only very recently become evident and it still requires far more research. If you would like to participate in the MPH preservation project then your posts will be most welcome. In the meantime pls do not trivialize the thread with unfounded personal comments. hi Edwarda, RE: "Not even the founder of this thread is taking this thread seriously." Since i am the founder of this thread, i think am qualified to comment on what i do or not take seriously. I began calling the historic Mojave Phonebooth before stating this thread and continue to do so even as i type this. While i believe that occasional OT messages from the threads particiants should not only be tolerated, they should be encouraged, the Mojave Phonebooth is a very serious subject. This thread has introduced a large number of people to the glorious wonder of the famous Mojave Phonebooth. I believe that many lives have been changed as a result. BTW, the line is still busy.
