Not that much to know, you want to drive the tractor rather than stack the bales.

Ok, I know about fertilizing it and replanting every 4 years and it being too high in protein for a non working horse. 1st, 2nd and 3rd cuttings. More leaves the better. No rain. Ted. Windrow. Wire vs twine on the bales, 40 pounds vs 60 pounds. Cure 10 days before feeding. Restack the bales for air circulation.

Comes down to you want to drive the tractor.
