Excellent points, Carl. Ampex wasn't especially speculative when I first bought it ...exceptional value . Hard to anticipate that almost everything would go wrong for several years. It is very speculative now though of course -mainly because they have hardly even begun their brave new attempt.

Speaking for no one but myself, there may be a general risk that by posting frequently about any stock I become too ego involved with it. Now a stock's price performance doesn't care if my ego is bruised or not....but ya know, it should....lol. Me, I still like the odds, but that may be the wishful thinking of someone who thinks the hole he has dug for himself is the quickest route to a gold mine.

Al referred th other day to an Ampex metaphor we have agreed on in email for years ...That chameleon potential always right around the next redwood tree...like an elusive coquette of a nymph we have been chasing seems like forever ...never catching more than a graze of gossamer ......slowly turning blue. ( But with some smart trades, and a singing callback.... Al has gotten alot closer than me....lol)

But once again, Go AXC! ; - )
