Well, it does not matter whether the CEO is telling the truth or not , the rule is the job function of the CEO is to manage the business of the company , bring up new products, define new market , grow the business of the company. Sure, the expectation of the financial market is high , and the pressure to the CEO is also high , but thinking about the reward , his pressure is really not high enough !! If you can't take the pressure , if you can not do your job, and do your best to bring value to the investors, then , why not just resign , and let people who can take the pressure , and commit to do the job take the position. As an investor, we do not need a CEO to tell the market in public that Microsoft is over valued , the whole Hi Tech market is way over valued; As a CEO, your job is to bring value to the investors, if you think Microsoft is over valued , then why not work harder to bring more value to the stock, so that the valuation will be in line. Besides, whether the valuation of other Hi Tech companies are over valued or not is really not the business of Microsoft's CEO. If you think Steve is telling the truth, then all the CEOs of other Hi Tech companies who did not make such comment in public are not honest , am I right ? Besides, how did you judge if a company is over or under valued ? It is the market which made the valuation of the company, the valuation is decided when the last trade is settled. You probably had played in the auction market, the value of the commodity is decided by the best price people are willing to pay !!!!!
