The nights still young but the NIKKEI 225 just formed a double top and broke back below 17,000. S&P futures are following suit and golds still on a terror. This is going to be one fun Monday <ggg>

Well I am once again befuddled. I am sitting here watching Gold go up like an internet stock in the short squeeze of the year, the futures are up SPZ 5 and NDX 10, although they were up 7 and 20 earlier and as you said, I have to wonder where all this money is coming from. Gold shooting up like this has to mean something is up other than the squeeze but we know it can't be inflation because Abby said it isn't so. <g> I hear AG pays a lot of attention to gold so now the equation is getting even more interesting. Guess I better start oiling the hinges on the bomb shelter doors and checking the expiration dates on the canned goods.

I think I may just sit on the fence and watch tomorrow since everything can't be going up at the same time. Half of these are head fakes and the others are real, which is which will be the big question. My guess is another new type of sector rotation. We just have to figure what is going to get sold off now to fuel the rallies in the POG and new favorite sectors. Someone big is positioning for something with movement like this tonight. Why am I getting this feeling like I did from October-Jan 97?

Good Luck,

Lee
