They should have just done two Caminos: one for Rdram and one for Sdram. Sure you've got more engineering and have to productize two chips. But, hey guess what, instead they have one Camino and an MTH chip that adapts Camino to work with Sdram. The MTH can't be totally trival since it has Rdram interface on one side and Sdram on the other side. Would it have been any harder to just do two Caminos????????
