Greg,
Hi!!
Have over 30 cords of wood...split by my son and myself...many cords still in the woods...Floyd really put a hurtin on our area...many uprooted or snapped...Only lost one "specimen" tree around the immediate landscaped property...Yet, it actually opens up a knoll where I have planted two white star magnolia...should benefit them...Taken over 20 down since storm...many more to go...mostly "choke" cherry and swamp maples...fence line maples and cherry's that got too tall since having the others eliminated from their vicinity...but, with 15" of rain it soaked the soil and made the popping easy for the high winds that blew for hours..
Black walnut?? Hey, I thought that wood was a fortune.. :o)

Best, Kemble
