BAD NEWS FOR CHINA INTERNETS...... Technology News Mon, 27 Sep 1999, 3:32am EDT Wu Jichuan Reiterates Ban on Foreign-Invested Internet Business in China By Peter Harmsen Shanghai, September 27 (Bloomberg) -- Minister of Information Industry Wu Jichuan reiterated that foreigners aren't allowed to invest in Internet businesses in China, calling it ''a long-standing policy.'' Wu, speaking during a Fortune magazine conference in Shanghai also said it was ''not too clear'' why Yahoo! Inc. of the U.S. was allowed to proceed with a venture to create an Internet directory site tailored for Web users in China. Wu said two weeks ago that China prohibits foreign equity ownership in telecommunications services, including Internet service and content providers. The statement sent a chill through Internet companies doing business in China, potentially one of the world's largest markets for such business.

Don't forget some of the 'older' watch lists. I have seen some come back after two or three days and a rally will bring up the high flyers from the list. Looking for some cheaper ones here, so I can get more bang for the buck.
