<<5/13/99 M$ft invests 5 Billion in AT&T in exchange for T agreeing to deploy 7.5 Million set top boxes (no time factor stated). M$ft also has a relationship with GMST>>

Sorry I forgot to mention that AT&T has a 10 year agreement
to use TV's IPG.

I'm also so tired I'm not even making sence to myself.

Enjoy

pala,

Well Justin I'm just starting on this, but TV Guide has a 90% market share in all DIGITAL IPG's deployed to date. 1.5 M with 6K per day growth.

I realize that you probably read that from a GIC company release but it is simply not factual. Thomson has manufactured and sold 6 million digital STBs to date in the US market alone. Of course, they all have been royalty bearing for Gemstar.

Stew
