It is possible and probably likely that there is placer gold at the bottom of the sands at bedrock. However nothing can be proven until deep holes are drilled. I think that this is still another 3 weeks away from occurring roughly. If any gold is found it will be a kicker and will lower the mining costs even further. As far as gold picks go, it is tough to pick as the price of gold is still far too low for any serious money to find its way into the junior market. I think that $325 gold will start to bring some action into the juniors. Currently there are so few juniors with cash to explore their properties. Let me know if you come up with anything.
