Jay and Thread, Sorry about the flurry of posts this weekend. As you know I am very emotionally attached to this stock and the tragedy in Taiwan really knocked me for a loop. I am prone to mania (like the Gorilla Thread investment thesis that kept me awake for 2 weeks straight) and this week just set me off. The late Sunday post from Lexar was about the last I could handle. I think the Thread knows the situation with regard to false advertising. All SNDK's lawyers need to do is show up with a briefcase of all the advertising projects SanDisk has, open the case, then show that it is empty. There simply has not been any significant advertising campaign. As I stated, at the Shareholder's Meeting Eli felt that the resources that SNDK had available made an advertising campaign possibly detrimental to earnings. They were spending operating cash on legal fees, new hires, improvements to the company health plan... Without advertising, how can there be false advertising??? It really irks me to no end that Lexar seems to be playing dirty pool here. I think they are grasping at straws altogether. Thanks for the support from the Thread.
