Mustang Software Announces Partnership With NexCen Technologies To Provide E-Mail And Internet Customer Transactions Management
BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 1999--Mustang Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:MSTG - news), a leading provider of e-mail management solutions for mission-critical e-business and e-service centers announced a joint agreement with NexCen(TM) Technologies, Inc., innovators of electronic Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) solutions for the telecommunications industry. The deal teams the two companies in providing Envoy(TM), the first packaged eCRM software solution for telecommunications service providers. NexCen has licensed Mustang's award-winning Internet Message Center(TM) platform to manage Internet and e-mail transactions within Envoy.
Envoy, NexCen's client/server eCRM solution, will utilize Mustang's Internet Message Center-Enterprise Edition (IMC) e-mail management platform to provide seamless e-mail and web-based transaction management. On the client side, Envoy provides call center agents with a unified view of customer information through multiple channels of contact. On the server side, Mustang's application enables routing of incoming e-mail and web-based transactions via intelligent message content analysis, while accessing customer account information from the Envoy database as necessary.
