Presentors: Did any suggest the 75-600 trades a day mode? Were all the examples given in charts, trades of less than an hour? How many talked about futures rather than stocks?

Dan,

<Content of the seminars>

I spoke to at least four speakers who had their subjects changed from what they originally expected to talk about. All felt somewhat uncomfortable with the new assignment.

No I didn't exhibit. Between you and me, one of the features of HRE is it's "uniqueness". I didn't want to be another carnival barker in the crowd. Also I've been pressing some of the SoCal folk to be a speaker/lecturer in NY. That is somewhat a separate path than pushing product.

Alan

Is CyberCorp the best direct entry broker, and which data service partner would you recommend?

They certainly have an impressive website.

How many subscribe to the magazine, Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities? As a relative newcomer, I find it informative if only for the ads.

Passez un bon temps!

DayTrading Expo Comments

Hi all. Thanks for the suggestions and comments on the Expo. Please keep them coming. I want to make it both educational and a social event where we can all look forward to meeting a couple times a year.

I completely understand the comments regarding the tutorial sessions. Here are some candid comments:

The tutorials were the source of many suggestions/complaints so we will definitely be re-visiting how to format them for the future. Most likely, we will be going with less sessions, longer sessions and better speakers. Some of our speakers received fantastic reviews and others were very bad. The best presenters will be invited back. Also, all presenters will be required to send a video tape of their presentation to us prior to the Expo so that we can better ensure that it will not simply be a sales pitch for their product or services.

Also, the "choose 3 of 4 sessions" turned out to be a logistical nightmare for us and we are dumping that altogether. If four sessions are available in one day, a full-conference pass will get you into all four. Their will be choices within each time frame but many will be repeated to give the opportunity for everyone to attend all the sessions they choose.

Also, I heard the convention center food was less than spectacular. Hopefully New York meals will be better!

Dan are you a member of Pristine RTR? If so, are there problems getting in to them this AM?
