Mike,

It's just a matter of time before Lawrence Kudlow, Wayne Angell, and some of the "new era" types tell us that the price of gold doesn't matter any more because we are mining a better quality of gold. You know, productivity, new technology and all. (g)

Either that, or some central bank will be announcing a sale any day now. Of course central bank sales and loans have nothing to do with the market psychology or the price of gold either. It's the outstanding job that "easy Al" and the boys have done. People hate gold because they have so much faith in paper, trust government statistics, and have a complete understanding of fiat banking. (g)
