Snapper, since you were with MU, didn't they build DRAM inventories earlier this year, and, if true, won't the earthquake be an enormous plus for them? As I recall, that move was derided by many of their bears at the time as a possible Kiss of Death, so sure were these detractors that DRAM prices were headed lower.

I am not comfortable commenting on MU operations. In general most DRAM players do not want to build inventory because it is a pure gamble. A supplier might deliberately build an inventory of a specific part when it is going to be discontinued, but not across the board.
