Good note. In fact, the terminology of the marketplace that the medical device will be sold is important to recognize. An "retinal scanning device" will have more meaning to other medical professionals than a "virtual retinal display".

Obewon remember when we tested the system in the demo room, it was the one where you sketch on a sort of mousepad or touchscreen to indicate whether you see "clouds" or "scars". In this application the system does not produce a picture on your retina, if just highlights the back of your eye. This is a different concept to the main display stuff that is called VRD.
I like a new name, it helps us to get closer to product names.
