Joan, I've found one of the best indicators for internets is SI, the SI hot list. When the Steve Harmon tread is on the hot list and/or AOL, YHOO, and other Type I internets are on the hot list, the internets as a group will move higher.
As noted before, you don't see the Harmon tread on the list when internets are getting creamed. Jed says this is because "peoples donts talk much when day R gettin dar buttocks handed 2 them."
