JQP - end of qtr for the funds...

I am letting GaryB's EW analysis and the sentiment in the overall market, temper my use of margin and buying full positions here...

All of these upgrades here - just prior to the end of Q3 for all the Fund Mangers is a bit suspicious; being that it is before Q-3 reporting.

I would have thought that they would issue comments about buying the dips here; but issuing the upgrades before seeing Q3 reporting seemed somewhat selfserving... I am watching for blocks of 20K, 50K, 100K going by on my watch list. Curious as to if the funds sell into this upgrade bounce.

Personally; entering strong positions in a few stocks RRC $4ish without fear, or trepidation byt the way; - but taking the chance for a total market blow off - led retrace here in stocks like FLC - thinking there are plenty of profit takers still left potentially, on any further weakness - given its recent run etc...

E&P's are a gift here aren't they ?(VBG) given the "green" on the nat gas strips and what we know will be a positive Q3 period... the "oily" names, not totally nat gas pureplays are a good hedge here: OEI UPR - and NEV being a very heavy Oil play. I'm going to have to run some #'s on $25 Oil for the more crude oriented names, vs. $3.00-$3.25 nat gas for the gas pureplays. It may be time to rotate back to the "Crude" names on any nat gas moves ?

Anyone trading, buying, chasing HEC ? Razor - covered (VBG) ?

<< this sell-off is without a foundation.++good>>

For the E&P's - I agree 110%.
