I don't know about a boost for Sun, but it's a good lesson for the management of all the companies that placed their futures and fates entirely in the hands of Intel and Microsoft, both of which have been either investigated or prosecuted by the government for abusing their power. It might be a boost for alternative chipset makers, although their hands are always somewhat tied because their products need to work with Intel's intellectual property. But don't forget: customers love monopolies! Bill G. says so! --QS
