The first Dungeness crab I saw nearly scared the heart out of me, it was so big. But it was marvelous.

Blues are IT in crab eating world. More than worth the often considerable effort.

Nothing like the ones still trying to get you when they go into a rolling boil! The exquisitely delicate texture of the meat doesn't take well to freezing.

End of season not far off here.
