Someone appears to want RRC. Ask keeps moving up. Now up to 4 9/16. JV press release isn't supposed to appear until the 30th, but who know maybe it'll appear a little earlier. Still haven't seen the volume to confirm this move however.

Bought GLBL & HEC today... and O/T Tiger Stadium

Tiger Stadium - first thoughts go to the 1968 AL Champ Tigers; Norm Cash on the bag, Freehan behind the plate,Trazewski on 2nd ? Ray Oyler at short ?, Don Wert 3rd, Kaline, Horton & Gates Brown in the outfield and Mickey Stanley played everywhere ; on the mound Lolich won 20 & McLain won 30,and I'm drawing a blank on the other pitchers here... remember being in elementary school talking about McLain vs. the Cards Gibson in the World Series - trading Kaline & Gibson for my fav' Mickey Mantle in Baseball Cards... the true Golden Era of Baseball... fav's were Rocky Colavito in Cleveland... Frank Robinson Of the O's, Mantle , Mays-McCovey, Clemente, Oliva, Killebrew...Stargell...

... but; it was Reggie Jackson's All Star Game home run off of the Light Pole framing on the Roof, a few years later that will be my lasting memory of Tiger stadium...

Only Fenway & Wrigley left... the end of an era...

Got GLBL - $7 7/8ths - got to buy on 5% down days; will sit large at $6 15/16ths - and buy calls from there...

HEC - just a small position, hoping for a bounce play while I'm sitting in extra cash - no volume avail from MEXP - all ready own it cheaper than $2 - so HEC satisfied the mad money "jones".... looking for the over reaction to the recent bad news. Seems to have priced in dilution here... gotta be a bounce play here & they still have $80 M in cash...

MDR - GaryB - so help me if I miss a full position waiting for $17 7/8ths....(VBG). Actually - still don't see "strong" buying support - so imho, only partial entries here - catching this at $22 on a sector turn is still very, very cheap. This see's $30 on the next leg - easily so; and $40+ easily at the peak of cycle

Looking at RDC/ESV - ESV nearly 30% from its recent rally; and is an ultimate - double in time. Again , there can be no Boom 2000 without $30+ ESV & RDC imho... FLC - I just have that $12 7/8ths figure carved in stone... we shall see...

I am liking some driller/service stocks here - we have prices from June here - and are going to report the LAST sectorwide flat/down qtr imho - that is a "nirvanna" buying opp.... I am FINALLY liking driller/service here.

PS - RRC .... keep the faith - period. I can honestly say; never lost a wink on this one; allthough did do some trimming earlier - at about breakeven here with purchases of late - after trading it for nice gains 3-4 times earlier this year... $7 still my target for profit taking...cheap & much better hedging prices going forward.

JQP (OT) Heh-heh. ESPN Baseball Tonight just ran the statistics for the first game ever played in Tiger Stadium in April 20, 1912. Nap Lajoie and Ty Cobb both had two hits and Ty stole two bases.... A nice touch by a great sports night show....
