As for Expedia, has anyone determined how MSFT stockholders will gain from this maneuver? Do we get shares in the new company at some ratio to the number of MSFT shares we own? Or do we simply own a small percentage of the company through our MSFT stock thus losing in the deal?

t2,

I'm long Oct 90s and Nov 90s on MSFT. I bought all of the Nov on Thurs and Fri. I've been holding the Octs for a week longer. I had meant to get rid of them on Thurs after MSN Day, but Ballmer blind-sided me - just a few hours more was all I needed. Anyway, I'm still ahead on them.

I'll probably hold the Novs until earnings Monday. I'll sell the Octs this week or open a spread by selling 100s against them if the stock climbs above 95.

I only have a few other option positions including VSIO (couldn't pass up the discount) and QCOM - both long.
