pompsander, as it turns out the Forbes recommendation would have made a lot of people money if they followed their advice. However, it could have gone either way. I believe there is no way the Forbes columnist could have known Intel would have last minute problems. No one knew, not even Intel. They were extremely gung ho at the IDF. If I had hedged my bets and bought Oct. puts against my position "just in case" I would be a lot better off now. Hindsight's always 20/20.

Nevertheless, I have faith that Intel will fix the problem as soon as possible. Intel is working extremely hard to fix the "issues" that came up with the Camino motherboards. According to the latest article on CNET, some computer makers are feeling better about Intel having a possible fix by the end of October after discussions with Intel today. This seems to make sense to me because I believe Intel will do all in their power to introduce Coppermine with Camino. The current PIII's won't take as much advantage of Camino as the Coppermines will.

Maybe there's some light at the end of the tunnel, hopefully sooner rather than later.
