(NXI-ME) is pleased to announce that it has closed the five private placements previously announced on August 31st, 1999. The subscribers to four of the placements are investors associated with Kestrel S.A., a financial services company located in Switzerland. The fifth placement was subscribed to by members of Nora's management for an amount of $100,000. The private placements total 8,200,000 units priced at 0.25$ per share. Each unit consists of one share and one half warrant. Each full warrant entitles the bearer to acquire an additional share at 0,33$, for a period of 18 months. Hi George and all Thanks for all the info. Just in case you have not heard of it I want to mention a great book I just read. It is called Fire Into Ice, the Chuck Fipke story. Besides chronicling his life it goes in depth into Diamet's play in the NWT. It is a very interesting read. Check it out at www.chapters.ca only $19 It helps explain all the details we talk about here and makes you realize why things take so long and info is kept so secretive. Dave
