I agree: big draw on gasoline this week. It takes time to replace all that gasoline when the draw is not anticipated.

As a result of all the gasoline needing to be replaced I suspect we will see an unusual rise in heating oil levels and a larger than usual drop in crude levels, caused by higher than usual refinery utilization levels.

OT: Slider, do you remember Mark Fidrych? He was the pitcher in the early 70's who talked to the baseball? They just interviewed him. He is looking pretty good except for that paunch.

Ahhhh, 1968! The first time I ever got to go to Tiger Stadium. Was a young lad then. Al Kaline was my hero. That guy could run SO fast, especially for his size. He could practically outrun the throw. He's an announcer on the game today.

Mayor has requested fans not rip apart the stadium for souvenirs after the game. What nerve, this is DETROIT!! Of course they are going to rip the stadium apart! Trumbull and Michigan Ave Street signs were stolen the other day.

I almost was and almost missed the last SPECTACULAR rise in Rigs and pipes. Anybody wants to look at REAL money - take a look at the rises in PDE, MAVK, and FLC on the last run. We're not talkin' scalping eighths and quarters on some $2 stock here folks, we're talking REEEEAAAAL money. You didn't need kabbala/like majik GOM rig numbers to get those returns. Keep your "EYES ON THE PRIZE" folks - it's the earning comparisons stupid.

BigBull (Re: MAVK) - I can't see what makes it so attractive at these levels at least for the next couple months.

You said...
>> My dream OS portfolio is MAVK, FLC, PDE, HOFF, KEG, and VRC. I simply can't believe people aren't tripping all over themselves to buy MAVK between 16 and 17. <<

I assume you like MAVK but not at these levels? What do you see as a good price or a realistic price after earnings?
