Def, it is revealing inasmuch as it points to a growing sense of unease at least among some bigger players.
i guess Abby didn't convince them. normally i'd say that increased hedging activities should be supportive for the market, but the options data still scream complacency and rebound speculation is all the rage. as was discussed last week, there may be an increase in bearish talk, but the bearish positioning is hardly detectable.
a few big players taking such bets now is hardly encouraging for the bulls.

In your experience, are pension funds usually correct in their timing when they implement this type of trade, i.e., are they part of the "smart money?"
