All, Ashok Kumar on CNNfN today, said RAMBUS will not be mainstream until 2001. The reasoning he gave was that performance improvements were too miniscule to matter.

the i820 only works with RAMBUS? I guess I'm a little behind the curve on this RAMBUS stuff...but not like Intel...which is obviously FUBARed on RAMBUS...
So Intel can't release the Culatermine 133 unless they want to give a gift to VIA and it's 133MHz chipset? And I thought AMD pulled big boners...
