Or it proves that you can start to write real applications that stress the memory by using AGP texturing and heavy CPU access at the same time. Time will tell.


Quite correct. The punchline, though, is that in real life AGP texturing is not considered very useful, because it is slow and video cards these days have tons of on-board memory.

Rambus may yet find a home in PC main memory (especially at the low end), but I feel confident in stating that Camino is a dud.
