Luc, the index p/c ratios remind me of last year's shortly before the REAL selling began. i decided to wait for tomorrow's opening before adding index puts...i wanted to see how the ST cycles play out before committing myself further since i'm already up to my gills in short positions. still, all things considered, buying index puts today was probably not a bad move. today was a wild day with the bonds selling off, the XAU going through the roof and another failed rally in stocks...a potentially significant day imo.
